FRC 2689 Team Alpha

Team Alpha (FRC 2689) is Westlake High School’s robotics team for freshmen and sophomores who are new to FRC. Team Alpha is the result of Team Appreciate opening up opportunities for engagement beyond just our JV team to create a robust pipeline of STEM and FRC during all 4 years of high school. During the offseason, all three teams work together, and experienced students from the Team Apprentice and Team Appreciate train Team Alpha students to ensure that they are prepared for the season. The leads of each mechanical sub-team (Design, Electronics, Programming, and Manufacturing) work within groups and one-on-one to train the students through in-depth technical projects.
