FLL4ALL

Team Appreciate started its FLL 4 ALL program in 2023 to engage elementary schoolers in the district. We started with just 18 students our first year, and in 2024, we have expanded to 8 weeks of 18 sessions weekly, guiding 112 2nd-4th grade students through the basics of FLL robotics. Our main goal is to ease younger students into robotics, providing them with the fundamental skills needed to be successful in their future careers.

We also aim to implement robotics into all schools in our district, encouraging FLL participation from all 6 elementary schools. To do this, each of our FLL 4 ALL sessions has an elementary school teacher from our district. They can watch the lessons and learn how they can use LEGO Education robotics curriculum in their own classrooms. We are currently running a pilot program with 18 students that will be later adapted into a summer camp and an afterschool program. Below are the slides we use to teach our students how to program their robots!
