KoPilot

KoPilot is a virtual mentor support network started and led by Team Appreciate seeking to mentor rookie FIRST teams by connecting them with veteran teams across the world.

KoPilot works to provide new teams with both technical resources and team guidance needed to be successful within FIRST. Our FRC 2468 students and mentors lead subject-specific KoPilot calls a 3+ times per week, teaching wiring and programming. In the past year alone, we’ve connected 9 rookie teams and 10 veteran teams, conducting 30+ meetings.

Testimonials

“Rookie team 9405 greatly appreciates the support that team 2468 has offered this Crescendo season. With team 2468's help we were able to build a very strong foundation from which to build a lasting robotics program for years to come.”

“Team Appreciate have been the driving force behind the KoPilot mentoring program for FRC rookie teams.   I am proud to be included in the KoPilot group of mentors and have observed firsthand the incredible impact that Team Appreciate’s mentors including Norman Morgan, Scott McMahon, Greg Mckaskle, and others have not only had on their own students but across FRC and through the KoPilot program mentoring other mentors.”
