Chuck Dickerson’s Testimonial

Team Appreciate have been the driving force behind the KoPilot mentoring program for FRC rookie teams.  The KoPilot project would never have even gotten off the ground without the vision of all the individuals within the 2468 program.  They have been dedicated day after day, week after week since this fall to building a grass roots support network.  This network connects veteran mentors from top tier teams across the United States from California to Florida, Michigan to Texas, and internationally from as far away as Australia, with rookie FRC teams starting well before kickoff, all the way though build and competition season.  These veteran mentors serve as “just in time” mentoring support to the rookie mentors for all aspects of building a successful FRC program.  This support for everything from how to market your team to how to wire your robot has been an invaluable lifeline for numerous rookie FRC teams and help them build a solid foundation and knowledge base thus building the foundation for these teams to establish a sustainable program from the very beginning.  I am proud to be included in the KoPilot group of mentors and have observed firsthand the incredible impact that Team Appreciate’s mentors including Norman Morgan, Scott McMahon, Greg McKaskle, and others have not only had on their own students but across FRC and through the KoPilot program mentoring other mentors.
