After the incredible 2017 season,  2468 Team Appreciate was once again honored to be invited to the Indiana Regional Invitational (IRI) over this summer. We were so excited to be able to attend IRI for the 5th year and to compete with some of the bests teams from around the world.

This year was an opportunity for our incoming juniors to be introduced to the many aspects of FRC competition including scouting the matches and being able to walk through the pit area. This competition allowed our new team members to learn from our veterans and become more comfortable with the transition from FTC to FRC. With the matches being very competitive and everyone having such a thrill throughout the event there was never a dull moment in the days we spent there.

IRI was a two day event where 68 teams competed with the STEAMWORKS game. This competition only involved robot performance, not awards, therefore vibe of the competition was fairly relaxed and everyone had a great time.
